Traveling Pipefitter

Traveling Pipefitter needed for process piping in Freeport. Install process piping systems from isometric drawings with precision fit-up. Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, chrome, and alloy piping materials. Maintain proper alignment, elevation, and slope per specifications. Install pipe supports, hangers, and guides per design requirements. Perform flange assembly with correct gasket selection and torque sequences. Coordinate with welders for fit-up acceptance and weld preparation. Verify spool dimensions and report discrepancies to supervision. Maintain cleanliness requirements for stainless and alloy systems. Work in pipe racks, process units, and mechanical rooms. Must be willing to travel to project locations as needed. Schedule is 6 days per week with 10 hour shifts. Full per diem and travel accommodations provided.

• Minimum 4 years pipefitting experience in industrial construction required. Proficiency reading isometric drawings and piping specifications. Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping systems. Knowledge of flange assembly, gasket selection, and bolt torquing. Ability to perform fit-up to welding quality standards. Experience with pipe supports, hangers, and guides. Must pass drug screen and background check. OSHA 30 certification required. Must be willing to travel and work extended schedules. Own tools and reliable transportation required.
