QA/QC Lead Inspector

QA/QC Lead Inspector for major project in Savannah. Lead QA/QC activities and coordinate inspection team on large industrial project. Develop inspection and test plans for construction activities. Assign inspectors and ensure adequate coverage of work areas. Review and approve inspection documentation and test packages. Interface with client QA representatives on quality matters. Conduct root cause analysis on significant quality issues. Track quality metrics and report trends to management. Ensure calibration of inspection equipment is current. Audit subcontractor QC programs for compliance. Support mechanical completion and turnover activities. Must have QC lead experience on industrial projects exceeding 100 million dollars. Schedule is 5 days per week with 10 hour shifts. Lead rates with full per diem.

• Minimum 6 years QC experience with 2 years in lead or supervisory role. Experience on industrial projects exceeding 100 million dollars. Proven ability to manage inspection team and coordinate activities. Knowledge of quality management systems and audit procedures. Experience with mechanical completion and turnover processes. Strong documentation and organizational skills. Must pass drug screen and background check. Multiple inspection certifications required including AWS CWI. Computer proficiency with quality management software.
