Traveling Millwright

Experienced Traveling Millwright needed for industrial projects in Memphis. Install and align rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and conveyor systems. Perform precision shaft alignment using laser and dial indicator methods. Execute equipment rebuilds, bearing replacements, and mechanical seal installations. Troubleshoot vibration issues and correct soft foot conditions. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment manuals. Coordinate with electricians for motor connections and rotation verification. Follow lockout tagout procedures and maintain strict safety compliance. Must be willing to travel and work extended schedules including weekends when required. Full per diem and travel provided. Schedule is 6 days per week with 10 hour shifts.

• Minimum 4 years millwright experience in industrial environments required. Proficiency with laser alignment systems and precision measuring instruments. Experience with pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and conveyor systems. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and equipment manuals. Knowledge of bearing installation, coupling alignment, and mechanical seals. Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check. OSHA 30 certification required. NCCER millwright certification preferred. Must have own hand tools and be willing to travel extensively. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
