Job Description
Rigging Foreman to lead crew in St. Louis. Supervise rigging crew and coordinate all lifting activities on site. Plan lifts and develop rigging plans for complex equipment moves. Calculate load weights and specify rigging requirements. Coordinate crane positioning and ground preparation. Lead pre-lift meetings and communicate plans to all personnel. Ensure proper rigging inspection and documentation practices. Manage rigging equipment inventory and maintenance. Interface with crane operators on lift sequences and priorities. Enforce exclusion zones and stop work for unsafe conditions. Track productivity and report progress to supervision daily. Must have rigging foreman experience on industrial projects. Schedule is 6 days per week with 10 hour shifts. Foreman rates with full per diem.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years rigging experience with 2 years in supervisory role. Proven ability to plan and coordinate complex lifts. Experience developing rigging plans and load calculations. Knowledge of crane capacities and lift plan development. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage rigging equipment inventory and documentation. Must pass drug screen and background check. OSHA 30 certification required. Rigging certification required. Computer literacy for planning and reporting.
