Carpenter

Carpenter for industrial construction in Houston. Perform industrial carpentry work on construction projects. Build and install formwork for concrete foundations and structures. Construct temporary platforms, stairs, and access structures. Install blocking, backing, and support framing for equipment. Build protection barriers and enclosures as required. Read drawings and perform accurate layout and measurements. Use power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently. Install doors, frames, and finish hardware. Maintain clean and organized work areas. Follow safety requirements for elevated work and power tool use. Must have industrial carpentry experience and own hand tools. Schedule is 5 days per week with 10 hour shifts. Per diem provided.

• Minimum 3 years carpentry experience in industrial construction. Experience with concrete formwork, framing, and finish carpentry. Ability to read construction drawings and perform accurate layout. Proficiency with power tools and hand tools. Knowledge of temporary structures, platforms, and access requirements. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work at heights safely. Must pass drug screen and background check. OSHA 10 certification required. Must own hand tools and power tools. Reliable transportation to job site required.
